Mudbugs - Brandon
Mudbugs
Description
Nestled among local dining options, this restaurant experience has drawn a mixed response. While some appreciate the flavorful crawfish and shrimp—praising their rich taste, others have faced significant disappointments. Reports of overcooked ribs, unfriendly service, and frustrating wait times for large parties cast a shadow over the dining experience. Furthermore, concerns about consistent customer service and management responsiveness add to the unease. While there are glimmers of potential improvement highlighted by proactive management, the overall inconsistency may deter some diners from returning, despite a favorable reputation from other branches of the establishment.

I have been here multiple times and never has the spice been weak!! I love it!! This last time, I brought my family from Southeast Louisiana and several hours after crawfish, shrimp, crab, sausage, potatoes and corn devoured, eyes watering, lips burning, they are still randomly saying that was some gosh darn good crawfish .. oh yes we will be back. I apologize for not many pictures, it goes fast everytime !!
The crawfish and shrimp were good. The only thing was that it was too spicy for me. I would have rather tasted more flavor than just hot. My lips were on fire. My husband loved it because he loves spicy food. My youngest had the wings and she did not like them. She's not a BBQ sauce eater so I was wondering why she chose those, but other than that, it was ok.
Cameron is the highlight of Mudbugs. The crawfish are fantastic, but the real standout is the beer selection, thanks to Cameron. Food: 5/5.
The management at this location is very poor. I've left here unhappy several times. It's really not worth the hassle, especially given their limited hours during an already short season.
