What User doesn't like about National Trust Tea Room, East Riddlesdon Hall:
I am a supporter of the goals and values of the National Trust, so I find this restaurant to be acceptable, mainly because I feel my money is going towards a good cause. If it were not for being a National Trust site, I would not consider it worthy of a recommendation. Yes, this café is understandably busy, but I managed to find a small table near the stairs. There isn't a wide variety of food, but there was enough for lunch. The sandwiches looked good! I decided to order a baked potato with tuna and cheese, as well as a coffee. The tuna was particularly tasty, possibly seasoned with lemon zest or juice, which made it very delicious! Great place to catch up with friends. Lovely cheese scones. Tasty good size cups of coffee. Everything used is recyclable.
