They don't have a large menu here but what they do, they do well. Go there on an empty stomach as their rolls are huge. The spit shack is located close to the airport, in the middle of a row of nurseries. They claim to spit-roast the meat onsite and use local produce, including bread from a local baker. The ambience is very relaxing, customer service is good. Now for the food: you can choose between spit-roasted pork or lamb, with fresh bread and an array of extras (coleslaw, pickles, crackling etc.) and sauces (mint, chilli, ajvar etc.) I found the meat (lamb) to be on the dry side and would have liked a bit more sauce. I will be back to try the pork.
