we were on the road and decided to stop here as everywhere near was full. it's easy to see why there was space here. it was really unforgiving. I've eaten at some bad places, but that's probably the worst. the pizza was. hard like a burned piece of brot that tasted like a burned piece of brot. the Cheesy chips were and came out as literally or chips on a side panel. I asked her if this was the chips from the menu and... View all feedback.

read moreExperience varied reviews at this British pub, from terrible meals to outstanding service. Burnt bratkartoffels, bland gravy, and lackluster pizza disappointed some diners. Others raved about perfectly cooked meals, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. A dog-friendly environment and excellent ales impressed many patrons. While opinions varied, the takeaway pie and Sunday roast received high praise. Despite mixed feedback, the pub retains its British charm and offers warm hospitality.
Nice atmosphere but on the pricey side. Not much to offer by way of food
This pub is excellent. The food is delicious and they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I give it 5 stars.
Ok pub, sensible bar prices. Food was a major let down, mostly overcooked, dry and inedible . Must have caught you on a bad quiz day
Been here twice and both times left after first drink. Seems run down and both times the small menu had things not available. Needs a freshen up
Nice pub, little worn round the edges but warm and welcoming. Nice draft ales available, outdoor area for smokers and nicer weather and dog friendly.
