I visited this restaurant during the Chinese New Year in 2022, and it was packed with East Asian patrons, including myself, which is always a good sign. The service was a bit compromised due to the crowd, but the quality of the food made up for it. Everything was delicious and fresh, and they kept the tea and curry regularly replenished. we met friends here to catch the other day. was not for a few years and were pleasantly surprised that the service and courtesy were still so good. the food was excellent and there was an extensive menu. it was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night and due to the acoustic quality of the room, therefore loud. but despite the employment we were not rushed through our meal. Ive been spoiled with Chinese food, having grown up practising Wing Chun and spending a huge amount of my formative years with Chinese people and I rarely find anywhere outside of London which offers not just the quality of food, but traditional service, right down to the jasmine tea not arriving in a teabag. Thanks for a great meal for my wife's birthday.

Malacca has to be the best South East Asian restaurant I have been to. The food was very fresh, you could tell everything was hand made and not bought from wholesale suppliers. The service was very impeccable and very friendly. The restaurant catered to allergies and took it very seriously, advising me they are very strict, cleaning a section of their kitchen and only allowing certain staff to handle food for the allergy sufferer. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you want genuine south East Asian food (Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, etc). 6* out of 5! We will be back tomorrow! Thank you very much!
