I'm a little familiar w the owner and his son who helps to take care of customers. I work in the area and stop there to check out eating vegan food. I have found various hot food delicious and the smoothies fresh and flavorful. The owner and his son help me pick different meals and leave out certain things for me, as I have a sensitive stomach, and an allergy to dairy. Bur the fruit waters are delicious. View all feedback.
What Joseph Deo doesn't like about Tastee Halal Bites:
I ordered a falafel gyro and asked if they had whole wheat pita. the person taking my order said yes . when my food came out the pita clearly was not whole wheat. so i asked the person making the gyro (same person who took my order btw) if i can get a whole wheat pita and their response was i dont know what that is . again same guy that take my order and said yes 5 mins ago. so needless to say i wont be returning. fo... Food was uncooked, food was not accurate to what was orderd. Selling alcohol and halal food at a same place...nice combination ??
Finally found a halal spot in Long Island!!! Not bland very tasty! Definitely will be making it my regular halal spotHad to revise it went again and it was not impressive:

One of those hidden gems.Good food, friendly staff, and far prices.
