The Squire House offered a relaxed atmosphere on Wednesday night at 8 PM, which allowed for wonderful personal service. Maddie, the bartender, along with a gentleman who appeared to be either the owner or manager, greeted us warmly and attentively looked after our needs. We indulged in some delicious Elk Bolognese and boneless Short Rib. I also tried the Bozeman, a delightful mix of a Manhattan and Old Fashioned, and concluded my meal with a couple of fingers of Aberlour for dessert. The bar itself is a pleasant spot to sit, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. It's definitely worth a visit!
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and the beignets are absolutely fantastic! There are three seating options: the main dining area, a charming outdoor patio, and my personal favorite, the bar/lounge. Although it's not very spacious, I actually enjoy that about it. The only reason I rated the atmosphere 4 stars is that the air conditioning can be somewhat uncomfortable at times. It doesn't run continuously, and when it is on, the airflow can be a bit uneven. Overall, this is definitely a spot I love!
The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is friendly and inviting, and the food is outstanding! The owner is particularly personable, making an effort to connect with guests and showing a genuine interest in enhancing their dining experience and growing his business. I highly recommend this restaurant!
No wait, which is unusual in Bozeman. Not loud, also unusual. Food was good and our waiter excellent. Knows the wines.
