Farm to table even in the dead of winter Has an amazing flavor and textures as well as a diverse menu Sam the chef personally took time to greet us and make sure we were enjoying our meal. Our waiter David was attentive, knew the menu and the wine list and was a joy. Definitely come. It’s a wonderland for foodies. Chicken skin taco awesome. We had 4 selections and every one was excellent.

My favorite restaurant in Bozeman features a delicious changing menu, exquisite dishes, outstanding food, and an excellent selection of beer and wine.

A few weeks ago, we visited Bozeman to see family and decided to stop by for a late-night snack and drinks. Our nephew, who is a chef, highly recommended the restaurant. The chef and his team were incredibly friendly. We sat at the counter, which gave us a great view of the kitchen, and we had a fantastic time watching the food being prepared. As a food enthusiast, I appreciated the staff's willingness to answer our questions and explain the cooking processes. The wine selection and their suggestions were outstanding as well; we ended up trying two bottles I would have never picked myself, but they paired perfectly with our dishes. The small plates we shared were exquisite, especially the beef tartare. I can’t wait to go back and experience a full dinner service.

The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, creatively prepared, and bursting with innovative flavors. I was truly impressed. The staff was very knowledgeable, providing detailed explanations of how the intriguing components of the dishes were made. I found this meal more enjoyable than some Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve visited. I highly recommend it.

There are good meals, and there dinning experiences. For context, I have worked in food and bar service in New York for four years, and my night at Bisl was one of the single greatest dinning experiences of my life and easily the best meal I've ever had in Montana. Dave, the owner and executive chef, took my reservation. He talked through my evening, from the dietary needs of having a vegan in our group, to the types of wines we favored. Keep in mind, when I called he was well into his prep work for that evenings dinner service. But he also took the time to come talk to our table the night while we were dining. The food is spectacular. While you may have to wait a few minutes for a table (at 49 seats, it's a smaller space) I promise you that it is well worth the wait.
