There was one woman doing almost all of th... read more This is my second time going to Jacob’s. The first time was absolutely perfect. This time the surface was really bad. There was one woman doing almost all of the work, and she was very nice, but she was overwhelmed. There were two other women, one sitting in the back, taking a long break when customers were there and another one doing some cutting and preparing. Empty plates were brought to our table, and one of them had black dirt all over the side of it. About five minutes past and we had to ask for silverware. Both of us ordered pastrami and Rye with coleslaw and potato pancakes. The potato pancake had absolutely no flavor to it at all. The nice waitress brought us some applesauce. They still did not taste good. Our sandwiches and coleslaw were absolutely magnificent. When it’s busy inside a waitress, taking a break in front of everyone just sitting there doing nothing is inappropriate. She should’ve pitched an immediately to help. Next time I think I will just order to go. There is a man at the register waiting saying that he is going to call the health department on them. I don’t know what that was about, but it made me leery of going there again especially after my plate was filthy
