I sent you an... read more Had booked via groupon for Saturday eve at 7.30. When we arrived the place was in darkness. A man opened the door and said “oh you must be Helen. I sent you an email to say we were shut this eve”. (He had but less than an hour before booking and after we had left home). Wow! We were the only people to have booked in an otherwise busy and popular part of town. That says something about the restaurant!!

We had been given a voucher... read more It was early evening on a wet and windy day so not busy but we were greeted very warmly and the service was efficient and friendly. We had been given a voucher as a present so to have such a lovely meal and not even have to pay was great. Seriously the food was very good the portions are not huge but when you are having 3 courses it was plenty. So if you are in the area and fancy some nice fish you can't go wrong in choosing this pleasant restuarant.

Also the tables were spaced apart, if you wanted to have a private conversation you could and didn't have to squeeze past other diners to leave the table.
