Bhavana It was a last minute decision to visit Gaja on a Sunday night so glad we did and will be back. The portions were huge, and we definitely over ordered but at least we have dinner for tomorrow now! Nice to have authentic Indian, whilst having a bit of variation from the usual traditional curries. The food was amazing, staff couldn't be more helpful, and the free shots from the bar were delicious. Great end to an evening. Can't wait to return with family and friends. Feedback
I ordered takeout from Gaja on Friday the 21st, and I was quite disappointed. There was an excessive amount of oil in every dish—almost enough to make one think it was an invasion of flavor! I had heard so many positive reviews about this place, which made the experience even more disappointing. Surprisingly, the rice turned out to be the standout dish. The other offerings were decent but felt quite generic. The Bombay aloo was more like a curry than the dry preparation I expected, and while the Rajasthani dish could have been good, it was overwhelmed by oil. The starters were enjoyable, but overall, I left feeling let down. Perhaps dining in would offer a better experience. Service: Delivery Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2
I highly recommend Gaja to everyone! I've already shared my experience with friends and family. This is the best Indian cuisine we've ever had. The spices and flavors were incredible. The staff was attentive and incredibly welcoming. We even received a few complimentary items, from welcome drinks to chocolates, which added a lovely, special touch. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
