Feedback
Yurihana's restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, revealing a troubling pattern of inconsistent food quality and lackluster service. While some diners enjoy the fresh sushi and warm hospitality, others express disappointment over cold meals, slow service, and unappetizing dishes that resemble microwave meals. Complaints highlight issues such as excessive wait times, poorly executed flavors, and dismissive management responses to customer concerns. Additionally, concerns over food safety—particularly regarding the use of harmful plastics—have emerged. Despite a tempting menu, these recurring critiques discourage many from returning, leaving potential patrons to question whether this dining experience is worth their time.
The food is great when I can actually order it, but unfortunately, your online ordering system is unreliable. Almost every time, it fails right before the payment step, leaving customers unable to complete their orders after going through the entire process. I've called twice about this issue, and nothing has changed. As someone who doesn’t often order takeout, I find this extremely frustrating.
The website made my wife and I drool. the menu has an incredible assembly of means of life. but we were out for sushi. it wasn't disappointed. everything was clean. sushi were normal portions and tasted fresh. house hot saki was better than most. the hostess and waitress (especially lisa) was very nice and helpful. I don't want to criticize unless I have an alternative, but the ambiente was kind of disappointing. clean, no smells, tables set, roof tiles all clean, some beautiful decorations, sitting and tables not worn. there was only something that would give him the atmosphere to be a regular place to look forward to an evening with her spouse or family. the unveiled storage room and the curtains on the back of the restaurant should be addressed in any case.
Sad day to give a bad review. The last two times we have been at Yurihana's we have had bad food and bad service. Today the food was cold, we sent it back and it came back cold again. The server and the man in charge really did not care at all. The time before was a take-out dinner. In placing the order they told me it would be ready in 30 min. I waited one hr. to get our food. In addition the food is too salty and not really very tasty. We will not be returning. Be Advised!!!
When the food finally arrived, it was soggy, and they knocked on the door and left it on the ground, quickly fleeing, probably to avoid seeing me. My husband's teriyaki chicken tasted like a microwave meal. I ordered a house salad with ginger dressing for $6, but it was tiny. The dressing tasted pre-packaged, and the lettuce was wilted from being placed on top of hot food. One of the items we ordered was chicken satay, which had a raw taste and lacked any grilled flavor. It looked like frozen chicken with fake grill marks and tasted microwaved. It was so unappetizing that I had to pan-sear it just to make it edible, which was the last thing I wanted to do. I ended up tossing most of it to the pets. I'm still hungry and feel like I wasted my hard-earned money. I will never stray from Chez Thuy again! They consistently offer delicious flavors, high quality, and generous portions. This place was a joke. The food quality was very low, and the customer service was severely disappointing. It probably goes without saying, but we will never spend our money here again.
Terrible experience on multiple occasions. We tried to support this local family-run restaurant, but the owner seems uninterested in customer service or ensuring a positive dining experience. When I brought up the issues we faced three times, I never asked for a refund or any compensation, yet his response was that we could always choose not to order from them if we weren’t satisfied. I pointed out that the concerns I raised were easy to address—like making sure the food is served hot or keeping sushi at the right temperature—but he dismissed my complaints, claiming we were exaggerating. After giving them three chances, I now regret having given them even one. What a disappointment!
