So, the host graciously sat him and another from our party outside, while the rest ofus were indoors at our pre-ordained table. They even provided us an electrical outlet to charge some OneWheels while we ate. Ihad called ahead earlier in the day to make sure that they would be able to accommodate us and they definitely went above andbeyond to do so. Food and service was great. Traditional New Mexican fare, with a gourmet twist. I had the carne adovada tacos,and sampled my friend's chicken enchiladas. Both were very enjoyable--flavorful and not the mouth full of fire I wasexpecting/dreading. Katy, our server, was attentive and offered to split our check nine ways. Wow. I'll definitely go back.

The food is delightful, particularly the sweet potato enchiladas I ordered, which were impressively flavorful. I also sampled the Christmas dish with green and red chili, and I found the red sauce to be my favorite because of its savory saltiness. The queso we started with was exceptional, reflecting the care that went into its flavor. The salsas were equally tasty. The margaritas were fresh, with the hatch chili variation being a highlight. Overall, if you enjoy dishes bursting with flavor, Santo is the perfect spot for you.

I've been to the one in Santa Fe before, and while the guacamole and fresh limeade were excellent, the service left much to be desired. The food came at strange intervals, and some courses were missing. Our server was not attentive at all. Although the elote was flavorful and had a nice kick, the enchiladas did not meet my expectations. It took a long time to get the check, and the 20% kitchen tip was not clearly communicated by the server. Overall, I left feeling let down by my experience.
