Paid $10 for a HALF salad. Lettuce appeared old and wilted. I brought it back, they replaced it with more wilted lettuce. They assured me the greens come in fresh every day. I guess they either weren't handled well or froze at some point. Used to love Panera Bread, but at this point the salads at Wendy's are 10 times better. Try their apple pecan salad with crispy chicken, never disappoints!
The service at this restaurant is extremely efficient and the staff are very friendly. Joe, my server, was particularly helpful and attentive.
I ordered the half salads for $13-$15 each, and they were literally only 3 bites. I ordered 14 of them for a meeting, and I was very embarrassed by how small the portions were. After paying $220 for salads that were only 3 bites, I ended up ordering pizza. The manager told me that the salads were pre-portioned.
Panera has become very expensive, and now with self-checkout, there is even less justification for the high prices. A single cookie costs $5.99 and a fountain drink is almost $4! Are they crazy? Who is actually purchasing these items? I'm pretty sure a soda at the movies would be cheaper.
3.5 stars. I ordered the Greek salad two different times, and was not particularly impressed with the contents, considering a lot of it was just lettuce, and also considering what they charge for it. Very large location for a Panera. Has nice outdoor seating with hill/mountain views. I always love the bread and butter.
