Lucile's is not a true Southern-style restaurant, despite its attempts to be one, and unfortunately, it falls short. I've dined here multiple times, hoping to understand what my friends see in it. The beignets are dry, the French toast is surprisingly watery (I still can't figure out how that happens), and the rest of the menu is, at best, mediocre. View all feedback.

Lucile's is not a true Southern-style restaurant, despite its attempts to be one, and unfortunately, it falls short. I've dined here multiple times, hoping to understand what my friends see in it. The beignets are dry, the French toast is surprisingly watery (I still can't figure out how that happens), and the rest of the menu is, at best, mediocre.
