The water was warm and despite my request for ice, I did not receive any. After returning home, I washed my hands twice in an attempt to remove the unpleasant odor, but the smell lingered.

It was a great decision and the fixed price was worth it. The atmosphere was a bit noisy and very informal, which was surprising given the overall pricing. Overall, we had a pleasant evening and enjoyed our meal.

Then anoth... read more It felt like they had an army of people refilling water and clearing plates, but we waited 20 minutes between when we ordered and getting our drinks. Then another 20 to order our food... then it seemed like it was 20 minutes between each course. The server dropped the dessert menu, then waited 15 minutes to come back and take the order. Our dinner was soooo long. I'd not have ordered three courses if I'd know how long it'd be between each one.

T... read more We've been patrons of Riffs from the get go, but I've never written a review. We celebrated our anniversary there this evening and were once again so pleased. The food is absolutely delicious from start to finish. This evening, we had the roasted oysters as a starter, which were absolutely delicious. One of our standards are the Brussels sprouts with hazelnuts always hearty and wonderful. Everything is so tasty and balanced. I find it difficult to venture out from my tried and true dishes, but it's always worth it. The servers, King and Mackenzie, were wonderfully attentive without disturbing in the least. When they found out it was our anniversary, they offered us dessert on the house. These were also creative variations on beloved standards, a deconstructed cheesecake and an apple tart. It goes without saying that we will return again and again. Bravo tutti!

The mixed green salad was extremely fresh with a delicious dressing, and the salmon was nearly as good as the char. The baked apple dessert had good flavor but could have used a few more minutes in the oven. The restaurant offers a great wine selection and excellent service. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces.
