Larkburger - Boulder
Larkburger
Description
**Larkburger: A Mixed Experience**
Larkburger has long been a cherished destination for burger aficionados, yet recent visits reveal a growing inconsistency in quality. While the meat's quality remains commendable, diners report overcooked and undercooked burgers, unsatisfying sauces, and unremarkable fries. Some loyal patrons continue to praise favorite options like the truffle burger, while others lament past perfection. Service typically meets expectations, though some feel it could be more attentive. As new health mandates influence the dining atmosphere, many hope Larkburger returns to its former glory. For now, it stands as a solid choice amidst competing fast-food chains.

I ordered the bacon cheddar burger along with a side of edamame. The burger was excellent, and I appreciated the option to choose how I wanted it cooked—I went with medium well. It was a great meal, but it felt a bit pricey at $10 for the burger. I guess everything is just more expensive these days.
Terrible since changing locations the absolute worst service. Save your money and time and just go to Wendy’s. They no longer have the kale salad which was the best thing on the menu and the food isn’t any better than fast food. The music was a head ache as well two different songs playing at the same time just made you want to leave as fast as possible. We came in with our family and they wouldn’t allow us to move the tables together blaming it on the pandemic, that is over. The fact that they still expected a tip after being rude and not really doing much of anything. you bus your own table and clean up your area your self, made no sense.
Gone DOWNHILL in every way. When Larkburger first opened in Boulder, I ate there once or twice a week. I bought gift cards for all my friends. I was HUGE fan. I ate there yesterday and cannot recall a worse experience. The chicken sandwich was so burned AND dried out, I showed it to the counter person and actually asked for a fresh one. The second attempt was barely cooked, dry and the bun had NOTHING on it. No sauce. Nothing. The fries were cold and Larkburger has obviously switched french fry products. In the beginning, Larkburger fries were the most unique I had ever tasted. Now they look taste like Burger King or worse. I could go on, but you get the idea. SO DISAPPOINTING. WHAT HAPPENED to this formerly wonderful restaurant????
Not a good hamburger. Tasteless, greasy maybe even old meat. Ordered medium well, was raw. 2 stars because the fries were decent but it’s not Lark fries, it’s Lark Burger and no care was given by this store to the quality of that burger. Will be going to Snarf burger from now on.
