My friends orde... read more This place doesn’t even deserve a single star. My first visit made it clear that the owner is in need of money and that business isn’t thriving. My friends ordered and paid for their meals, but my mistake was handing the owner/server my money before receiving my food. He later claimed that I hadn’t paid. If you’re considering eating here, I suggest paying only after you have your food in hand. It was absurd and completely unexpected to be accused of not paying and of trying to keep the money. He insinuated that I was hiding the cash in my wallet or pockets, so I emptied them right in front of him. When I asked him to do the same, he simply gave himself a quick pat down. There’s no reason I would enter an establishment and leave without anything in return for my cash, especially when I’m being wrongly accused of lying and trying to steal his food. The owner then attempted to give me $5 back from a $20 bill when my meal cost $14. Why would he jeopardize potential repeat business like that? I spoke with his neighbors, and they expressed that they don’t like the owner either. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau about this experience. According to my friends, the food was watered down, greasy, and overly vinegary. The seating is limited to a small counter, a few tiny tables inside, and one picnic table outside. It was an awful experience all around. I had even planned to bring my guitar in to play with him, but what a disappointment that turned out to be. I never expected to find such a rundown restaurant, especially in this area. It’s a major insult to the honest and professional dining establishments in Boulder County.
