Reviews - Corrida
Reviews summary
Nestled in Boulder, Corrida boasts stunning views of the Flatirons, an inviting patio, and exceptional cocktails, creating a captivating dining atmosphere. While the service can shine brightly, it sometimes falters, leading to uneven experiences. The menu features enticing tapas and shareables, though many patrons feel the pricing does not reflect the food quality, with some dishes lacking in flavor and substantial portions. Despite these missteps, dedicated staff and impressive wine pairings reinforce Corrida's potential, making it a noteworthy destination for those seeking ambiance and creativity in their dining experience.

Wonderful experience and fantastic food. The table side gin cocktails were all perfect for the warm evening. Appetizers were all delicious and creative. Steaks were excellent and prepared just right. The team who waited on us were great, and at one point there were 6 people lined up with dishes for our table. View all feedback.
What WendyC dislikes about Corrida:
Roof top in Boulder with great views. The food was over priced- especially the tapas menu. $9 for four slices of 1/4 inch bread strips with a 4 Oz butter dish is just too much. Most people expect bread on the table without a charge. I also get they have to charge that 9$ for bread in order to pay for the view. The food was delicious, just very expensive. The service was good, but not exceptional. View all feedback.

The food was prepared creatiw and plated good mix of aromas: truffle toast, razor clams, burrata salat and charcuterie teller were all pleasant and tasteful. sardines were mild in taste, although the presentation was unique. they do not spoil their palate-tastes with the Shisito peppers. service was attentive, perhaps too attentive hovering/interrupting a little too much perhaps the fine ess logs can be a bit relaxed (it is post covid and boulder finally.) cocktails were solid and wein selection exceptional. can not wait to get back at warmer weather and enjoy the view from the outside terrace a few in our party said it is quite impressive.
Eating was great, everything is perfectly prepared. service was great and beautiful atmosphere.
This was our first time corrida (after hearing about it in 5280 magazine.) eating and service were both excellent. it was my birthday and everyone was very sweet to mention it. I had the only seafood item on the menu (hake) and my man had the file. meal was expensive $300 for both of us and we are very light drinkers. but we will be back!
Great service. very good food. some steaks have comparable prices with high-end steakhouses; However, several NY strips and ribeyes are made on the market based on weight and the prices are laughable. try $250 for a 24 oz ribeye and that does not include any side.

The food was quite mediocre, with small portions and a lack of flavor. However, the service and ambiance were excellent. It's a shame the food didn't match up. Considering the price, it really wasn't worth it. We ordered three items, had water to drink, and the total was $95. I won't be returning or recommending this place.
Excellent service, and the alpenglobes make for a special night. Tapas and shareables are very good, but priced a little high in my opinion. Cocktails are amazing, and wine list is great. Great spot for tapas and drinks with a great view.
The weather was quite warm, which made the Alpenglobe experience less enjoyable than I had hoped. I suppose that's the risk you take when you make reservations.
The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. The globes provided plenty of space for five adults and a toddler, making it easy to hear everyone at the table while keeping the little one comfortably contained. Our favorites included the carne tostada and the French toast tostada, along with the shishito peppers and the bread with butter (which was absolutely delightful). Everything was delicious, and we left no crumbs on any plate. Everyone in our group agreed it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. We can’t wait to come back!
Happy hour in the outside snow globe! It was perfect ,since I had a four year and a six month old with us. Easier to contain them and not disturb the other guests. Drinks were delightful. This time we had steak frites , a charcuterie platter and other yummy snacks. Service is excellent,I almost forget I am in Boulder!Love this restaurant.

Corrida, you truly exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much for the wonderful and attentive service. The food was excellent, and our steaks were cooked to perfection. We want to highlight how exceptional the service was. This was our proposal/engagement dinner, and you made it truly special for us. We also appreciated the kind couple who sat next to us and treated us. We can’t wait to come back next time! We hope to celebrate our next anniversary here. We didn’t even catch your name! Thank you once again, as well as Corrida, for making our night unforgettable. This restaurant holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you!
A dissapointing experience. My husband and I have been coming here, occasionally, for a few years and the service has declined significantly. On our most recent occasion, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. This received zero acknowledgement by the staff and we barely saw our server throughout the duration of our meal. My husband attempted to get a second cocktail but was unsuccessful. The restaurant had sold most of their beef by the time we arrived for a 7:30 reservation (Monday evening) and only had their most expensive cuts left available. Food was fine but not worth the price. Ambiance was great with views of the flatirons from our table. Overall, the experience did not meet the cost of dining here. We will be back.
We enjoyed a delightful dinner at Corrida during our first visit. It was just the two of us this time, but we will definitely bring another couple next time, as each course offered plenty to share.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food quality and flavors were excellent. However, the pricing doesn’t quite match the overall experience. I encourage the restaurant to be mindful of new servers, allowing them to gradually shadow experienced staff and warm up to interacting with customers. Overall, it was a good dining experience with great food.
We were there for a business meal. The best part of the meal were the drinks and apps we enjoyed outside on the terrace. Sadly, someone at another table brought their toddler (really? and was letting this child run around on the terrace. This was distracting and disappointing given the high end nature of this restaurant. There should be a no child under eight yrs policy in place. We moved inside for our meal and had some additional apps, followed by the cowboy steak, the halibut, the broccolini, zucchini and Bravas potatoes. The food was delicious. I was blown away by the price. $18 for zucchini, $17 for broccolini, $58 for a small portion of halibut? Really? The service was overly attentive and interrupted our conversations multiple times, to the point where one of our attendees kept his hand over his water glass, so that he could speak without being interrupted with yet another water pitcher being poured in front of him. We appreciated the quiet sound level in the restaurant so that we could speak across our large table and hear each other. While I will be back, it will be for drinks and apps on the terrace. Hopefully, this time with no toddler.

We had an incredible experience at the restaurant. While celebrating our anniversary in Colorado and staying with a friend, the three of us truly enjoyed our meal, the outdoor seating, the beautiful view, and the excellent service. The 7oz Wagyu coulotte was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of bourbon, which I definitely took advantage of. The prices were reasonable given the quality and overall experience.
The food, cocktails, view, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The timing between courses was also on point. The second round of dishes we ordered was a bit saltier than we expected, but overall, the flavors were well-balanced. We intend to return when the weather is nicer to enjoy outdoor dining with that lovely view.
Incredible! This is definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in Boulder. The food is cooked to perfection, and when paired with the rooftop view and the impressive gin and tonic cart, it creates a truly exceptional experience for all the senses.
