Owner Greg Carelli, along with his father Gene, wanted to create an atmosphere that offers authentic Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting. The restaurant features a large open flame fireplace, mosaic tiles, natural Birch woods, and warm lighting. Start your meal with appetizers such as fresh mozzarella and beefsteak tomato caprese, lightly breaded calamari, or lamb artichoke meatballs. For main courses, guests can choose from baked jumbo shells stuffed with spinach and ricotta, classic chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, artisanal pizza, calzones, and paninis. Carelli's also offers awesome gluten-free options. The restaurant has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Daily Camera Reader's Choice 2002-2020 award for Best Italian Restaurant and ambiance. Additionally, Carelli's has received accolades from the Denver Post and Boulder Weekly magazines for its bar scene, extensive wine list, and daily fresh fish specials.

We had a wonderful experience at Carelli’s! The special of blackened halibut on mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly and so tasty. My husband’s pasta con funghi was also delicious! Our server, Angie, was attentive and friendly and one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time! We look forward to our next meal at Carelli’s!
