Description

Nestled in downtown Bothell, this British-Irish pub offers an authentic atmosphere with classic dishes like fish and chips, bison and bacon cheeseburgers, and traditional English breakfasts. The fries receive consistent praise for their perfect crispness, while the menu features hearty favorites including shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash. A wide beer selection complements the experience, with Guinness impressing even discerning visitors. Though some find prices steep and limited vegan options, the friendly staff, lively trivia nights, and multiple TVs for sports make it a solid spot to unwind. It's an English style pub. If you go in expecting that, you'll get exactly that. Import heavy beer list. Nice fresh Boddingtons on nitro. Haven't had the food. Nice cork dartboards, big (but kinda shitty) tvs. It's good how it is. Maybe go somewhere else so this doesn't get packed.

Great little British themed pub. The food is good, typical pub style menu. Numerous beers on tap and a good seating area outside the bar for families. There is some outside seating but it's seasonal.

Avoid this place if you are a Sounders fan. We came an hour before the march and specifically asked if they would show it on the big TV and turn on the sound. They gave an emphatic yes. Then 10 minutes before the march they told us no, they 'd show a different sport and relegate us to a crappy TV we can 't even see. We had to cancel our order and rush home to catch the match, ruining our rare chance to go out for an away match. An English Pub that gives American Football and baseball precedent over real football? Shame. They should have their English card revoked. Best to hit a real English pub like Atlantic Crossing or George and Dragon.

A great little pub downtown. A lot of places call themselves English style pubs but this place actually has English style pastys, sausage rolls and excellent fish and chips. Very impressed by the food. They have some dart birds and plenty of TVs for catching games and they have live entertainment on some nights as well. Nice little pub!

By the way, some people claim that Guinness in the USA tastes different from the real deal in Dublin. I don't believe it—I couldn't tell the difference, and I had the authentic stuff only a week before I tried the Guinness at Three Lions. The menu also offers a wide range of English and Irish specialties, including Shepherd's Pie, bangers and mash, and delicious French fries (or chips, as they call them). The decor and atmosphere truly embody a British/Irish pub vibe. It's a fantastic place to relax, watch soccer matches featuring European teams, and simply enjoy life. I'll definitely be back many times!
