Lots of flavor and the pieces are a little larger than KFC.Not so good:I also had some chicken tenders. These were not bad, but didn't really have any flavor. Dipping them in gravy helped.The mashed potatoes and gravy side dish was pretty bad. It was more like Gravy Soup with a dollop of thin potato puree added. Made for an OK dipping sauce.So if I were in the area during lunch time, I'd definitely consider going here again. I'd just stick with the regular fried chicken and try another side dish.

The biscuits are also unique and... read more The chicken at this restaurant is exceptional. It is very crispy on the outside and well-cooked, yet still moist on the inside. The biscuits are also unique and tasty, and the selection of bottled drinks is impressive. The customer service, while not outstanding, was still adequate. There were a few instances of rudeness from the employees, but it did not deter me from becoming a regular patron. One interesting thing I noticed is that there are bands of seasoning, resembling hot sauce, in the middle of the breast meat (and more so in other cuts). It adds a unique and delicious flavor. I suspect that the seasoning is injected into the meat during the preparation process. Overall, the chicken was crispy and delicious.

The prices are slightly higher than grocery store/fast food fried chicken while not offering anything better. The staff don't care for you. The person who is serving chicken did not wash his hands after taking a smoke break and didn't wear any gloves while serving. Very un-hygienic.

The chicken was savory, juicy and seasoned perfect. Go get you sum, yum!
