What User likes about The Black Rose:
Food and staff were great. I am sure it is much louder when they are open fully. They were great about cleaning, separation of tables and making sure people were not bunched together as they need to during current covid restrictions. Dinner was great oysters, chowder and lobster BLT’s and menu had something for everyone. Looking forward to going back and enjoying dinner when things are back to “normal” View all feedback. What User doesn't like about The Black Rose:
I was looking for a nice old-fashioned Irish Pub. Most of the food that we ordered was very good especially the whiskey chicken wings the shepherd's pie was phenomenal it must be one of the best Shepherd's pies I ever had. And of course they had my beer on tap which is Smithwick I truly enjoyed my two visits to the Black Rose and will definitely return on any future trips to Boston View all feedback.

read moreA visit to this Boston Irish bar brought mixed experiences, from rude handling of customers to fabulous dishes like whiskey chicken wings. The decor is great, with TVs showing sports matches. Despite lack of live music and tasteless food, the staff is attentive, especially during COVID-19 restrictions. The Shepherd's Pie is a must-try, along with tasty pretzels and great drinks. The atmosphere is loud and fun, especially when live music is on, making it a perfect spot for friends or family gatherings. Though not without flaws, this Irish pub serves up a solid experience overall.
