Good value halal food that is very similar to the Halal Guys. Had their plate with chicken, rice, and lettuce, and I liked how they had a variety of sauces available at the store which allows you to customize your plate depending on your preference. The rice grains, however, weren’t exactly my favorite: they were bigger than the ones at the Halal guys, and the texture was a bit more dry. Otherwise, I enjoyed my plate... View all feedback.
What Daniel C doesn't like about Chicken Rice Guys:
Mediocre Meal with a Side of Plastic. I ordered a large with chicken and tofu. Chicken is exclusively thigh meat, evidently to save the company money. Tofu was cubed and appeared seasoned but there was no flavor. Rice was promisingly yellow, implying some curry flavor but it was bland. Everything served in plastic. You also pour the sauces into mini plastic containers. Hard to to imagine a less eco-friendly situation... View all feedback.
This was such a great find! The food is delicious- I wish I got the bigger meal size because I wanted more. Highly recommend the creamy garlic sauce. The hibiscus lemonade was also amazing!!Food: 5/5
Wow ! I use to love this place, but I recently ordered from here an was so disappointed the rice had no flavor along with the flavorless chicken I tried to add white sauces an hot sauces to make it more flavorful but it was a fail. I use to prefer them over I halal guys but not anymore .Food: 2/5
We stopped in for a quick bite while walking on the Freedom Trail vacationing in downtown Boston. The idea was to get a quick bite so we could move on and eat a couple hours later and this was the perfect spot for that. They offer large and small portions which was great. The food was very tasty and just the right amount. The price isn't bad as well, it's about $14 for the small portion which filled me up. I ordered the small Chicken and Rice Plate. We literally got our food within a few minutes from ordering. Nice to get in out quickly. Seating inside was adequate. Because this is located in the heart of downtown Boston, there is no parking so you get here on foot. Good place to check out when in the area.
