I don't speak french and was traveling alone so i figured i'd go to this pub around the corner from my hotel for a drink. The bartenders were extremely friendly irishmen and gave me someone to speak english to. Drinks were ok prices but good and while i did not order any food the food i saw passing by from the kitchen looked like some delicious standard pub grub View all feedback.

But one of the guys working there after asking me where i was from and finding out i was latin american decided to made borderline coments, like latins boys are stupid, they dont think with their head (suggesting they think with their d i called him out for that but didnt seemed to care and replied u know its truth . I found that highly offensive and made me very unconfortable (specially since i was just sitting on my table and he approached me I decided never to go there again. Shame since the menu and the beers are really nice, but i cannot stand that kind of comments. And I dont think is a very woman friendly enviroment.
Hi. Went there with my parents last Sunday. We were met by a horrible bar man from Monaghan. Just a horrible, unwelcoming person with attitude. We had been informed the previous week that they would be showing a the Munster hurling match. When we arrived, we were told it would not be shown and we certainly had no chance of seeing it there. It was the derogatory tone of the bar man that was unnecessary. Instead we made our way to the Connemara pub. Funnily enough we met another elderly Irish man there who also said he had been to the Blarney stone in the hopes of seeing the match but he too was met with the same service and attitude. Instead we all happily watched the match as a group in the connemara pub. Would highly recommend that one instead of the Blarney Stone.
Nice pub with a friendly young cork man behind the counter, will visit again when I’m in Bordeaux. Nice atmosphere and good pints
My favorite restorer in Bordeaux. They literally make the best chicken wings ever! There are so many beer options in the menu. But I recommend drinking Brooklyn IPA. (It has a kind of flowery taste) The atmosphere is fascinating. The staff is nice and friendly. You should definitely go there PS: Please bring the cakes back to the menu. They were also delicious
Excellent pub. Authentic and proper pub staff. A visit and a Guinness is recommended!
