You're unlikely to stumble upon By Popote by accident, but you'll be glad you did. 50m from FNAC on St Catherine, it's convenient but hidden. The salads are excellent, and the staff actually seem to want to be there, which isn't a given here unfortunately. Artisanal fruit juices and home made desserts are the order of the day (try the apple crumble). View all feedback.
Definitely the best cookies in town. Very welcoming, the tiny terrasse is relaxing just behind the crowed of St Catherine street. Just for a break or a lunch (the patoto is very yummy) it's perfect, and the service is quick. All homemade and we can see the kitchen. You can't miss this place when you visit Bordeaux and definitely not when you live there.
