House Brew Cafe - Boracay
House Brew Cafe
Description
Nestled along the beach, this restaurant offers a blend of healthy dishes and a vibrant atmosphere. While the falafel and quinoa bowls stand out for their freshness and taste, some diners note a lack of seasoning and small portion sizes. Vegan options, though appealing, have raised concerns due to potential misunderstandings about ingredients. Customer service receives praise, with staff being friendly and attentive. The coffee, beautifully presented, adds to the experience, despite occasional inconsistencies in the milk choices. Overall, patrons appreciate the affordability and quality, making it a worthwhile dining destination during their beach getaway.

The coffee is excellent and the cakes are delicious. The staff are also fantastic.
The portion sizes are quite small and a bit expensive, but the food is delicious. I had the Falafel bowl for lunch one day, followed by the Açai bowl, and then took a takeaway Açai bowl for breakfast the next day before heading to the airport. The staff is lovely and the view is stunning, as the restaurant is right on the beach.
Absolutely delicious açai bowl. And the coffee is great too. Very clean and modern. Immaculately presented place. Will return for same thing again tomorrow. Wish there were more things on the menu for vegans to eat. If there was, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Felafal bowl was.. ok. Very healthy but no real taste, added avocado and it was obviously mixed with something, it was very runny and flavourless. Gf (vego) had Avo on toast with poached eggs and said it was pretty bland. Semi expensive
Came here due to it being on happy cow, lots of vegan labelled food on menu however restaurant do not understand what vegan means. ordered the chickpea curry, labelled as vegan, it came with yoghurt so i asked for a new one without the yoghurt. when my new one came out the waitress explained the rice is cooked in yoghurt as well so i asked why they label it as vegan when it has yoghurt in and she didn’t understand that it wasn’t vegan. i would recommend avoiding incase other ‘vegan’ items actually aren’t.
