The first visit we had the pulled pork nachos and margarita flatbread- both delicious! This visit we had the cheese curds, flatbread again and the fried green tomato BLT- again delicious! Great service, friendly faces, nice atmosphere and quick service. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out! Can’t wait to make another trip to Boone and try another item on the menu.

My sister who is... read more Everyone in my group of 11 people absolutely loved the food here! I got a margarita pizza and it was better than some pizzas I’ve had in Italy! My sister who is a steak lover ordered a steak and said that this restaurant is in her top 5! Definitely great food overall! I do wish the menu was easier to look at, it’s digital so it was difficult for my grandparents.

As we wandered around town, we stumbled upon The Local. Though we hadn't made it to eat there, it had been highly recommended to us during our last trip to Boone. We were seated right away, and our server was very friendly. We all had various draft beers and the pesto flatbread as an appetizer. For dinner, I had the blackened goat cheese burger with brussel sprouts. It was all excellent. I'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.

The MVP goes to our server, Maddie, who greeted us... read more We came here today for dinner for our family of 6 and we were truly pleased in every way with our experience. The MVP goes to our server, Maddie, who greeted us warmly and promptly, made great recommendations for appetizers and entrees by sharing her favorites from each category in the menu, and took great care of our large table the entire time. We got the Brussels sprouts and nachos appetizers and the Brussels sprouts were the best we had ever eaten. Everyone loved their entree and we each got something different, so huge kudos to the kitchen staff! Maddie knew the menu inside and out, took the time to learn about our family, and made our experience one that we will not forget and one by which we will measure all future visits as her standards and kindness were top tier! The host (wish I knew his name but he was lean with long black hair and a cool moustache) was also very friendly! You guys all did exceptional! Thanks again
