I absolutely love this place! The bagels are fantastic, and the latte was perfectly heated—really warms the soul. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. I'll definitely be back! View all feedback.
What Emma Rose Farmer dislikes about Stick Boy Kitchen:
Waited on my takeout order that had been sitting on the counter for 30 minutes with the food cold. I love this place and always had great service but had to go ask for my to go order in order to receive it when they always bring them out. Normally, to go orders have taken 10-15 minutes. It was busy, but this has never been a problem in my years as a customer there. View all feedback.
Overall, this place has a cute and cozy vibe. The service was friendly, and everything I ordered was quite tasty. My sandwich came on a bagel—I'm not sure why I was expecting toast or an English muffin—but I would have liked the option to choose my bread. Still, it was delicious, as were my latte and biscotti; they made for perfect fuel for my hike. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through Boone!
This place truly prioritizes quality. The ingredients are top-notch, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
The best bakery and lunch spot in Boone. Great pastries and sandwiches, bagels and more.

My daughter and I stopped into Stick Boy Kitchen on a snowy December morning for a bite to eat, and it did not disappoint! We tried a sticky bun and a chocolate croissant, as well as fried egg sandwiches with ham, bacon, and cheese on bagels. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cheddar everything bagel made my ham, gouda, and fried egg sandwich exceptional—just the right combination of flavors. The sticky bun was perfectly sticky and sweet, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her chocolate croissant. While the food was fantastic, the service was a bit confusing when we first arrived. Being from out of town, we weren’t familiar with the setup. We initially sat down but quickly realized we needed to grab menus ourselves from a sandwich board. After that, things improved—especially thanks to a kind young gentleman who took our order and ensured everything went smoothly. The cozy holiday atmosphere was a nice touch, with college students decorating the space with coffee filter stars, adding a festive and quirky charm. Despite a slightly rocky start, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food made it a wonderful experience overall. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! The flavors, cozy vibe, and unique charm of Stick Boy Kitchen make it worth a visit. Just make sure you grab a menu when you walk in! Kid-friendliness: There were several kids there while we were there and I'm including the college students.:
