We're here several times and almost everything I had is really good. Tacos were the special yesterday (Monday) and I had one, pigs BBQ, chicken and baja shrimp. The shrimps were overdue to WAY. No complaints. Hubby usually gets a burger and he only has good things to say. Large selection of beer also! Many students come, but there is plenty of space for us old people, too! What Shawn S doesn't like about Rivers Street Ale House:
This was my second visit to try to give an opportunity to correct the first. Well the first was not bad. The service could have been better. Food was good. Warm and came out relatively quick. The second trip after waiting a half hour we finally left having not seen a waitress had a drink order taken while other people that had arrived after us or being served food. There will be no third strike View all feedback.

A decent place near the App State Campus. Breaked for a quick lunch with some students. Service was fast and friendly. Food was barely accessible and I only ate it because I was in a hurry. Fries weren't fresh and the shrimps in the Pon-Junge greased as if they had fried again, maybe more than once. Super boiled. I remember when this first opened as Mellow Mushroom in College and then it was more fun. Will probably come back, but next time try something else.
River Street Ale House is a delicious eatery with a wonderful selection of beer and excellent staff. You will enjoy yourself here is a casual, alid back atmosphere. Prices are great and the food is delicious. I went when they first opened and have been there many times since and the one thing that hasn't changed is my recommendation that this is a Boone nust go to.
For vegetarians they have salads and four articles on the menu for children. Probably about 30 TV's, which was great to see the game. We had to stand up and ask for napkins, plates and cutlery, because our first appetizer was delivered by someone else than our server, without asking if we needed anything else. I tried to ask the young lady to delete the table next to us for cutlery, but she told me that I had to ask my server what made me think for a moment that I had accidentally approached a customer because there were no uniforms and most waitresses seemed comfortable to wear or unveil clothes that a customer could wear during the run-out, such as Sweat pants. I've never been a waitress or knowing how things could work in this business line, but in my experience elsewhere, even the bus boy (remember my server or) would be happy to bring me a number of utensils instead of following myself on a busy night of play. Maybe she was new or something. Someone in my party was disappointed to see that another table was served the cheese steak Sub after the server said that it was not an option as they were from the cheese steak ingredients. She could have said they were from steak, but chicken was still an option he would have enjoyed. I made sure chicken was another option when she tried to tell me the same thing. I ordered the personal size cheese steak pizza with chicken and while it covered the whole dish, the meat was either stingy or not properly paid out. Since there is no tomato sauce in a cheese steak and the cheese was nothing special, I asked for Ranch to immerse it. They must have been very busy this night because we had to demand that someone take our used records out of the way, but I can say that our server checked with us whenever she had the chance. Overall, it was not a bad experience, even if we had to throw up a few arrows in confusion. No one in our party seemed to be upset or complained about the institution. We would probably come back for the next game.
We had a big party with eleven children. Our server was attentive and accommodating with our needs. The food was hot and delicious. We loved the Ruck pizza, Bourbon Street Burger, Pommes, Deads and Wings were decent.
