I?ve been to los before and never thought it was all that special. Today I went and was served raw chicken. When my boyfriend and I alerted staff we barely got an apology and offered something else. We just asked if we could leave, it?s unacceptable to serve raw food under any circumstances. I won?t be returning. Food was not tasty at all. It was very dry and the rice that came with me and my daughters dishes was cold. My wife ordered tacos and what she got was 3 tortillas with burnt beef on it. Nothing else. Made me miss home more. Service was great. She rocked it!!! Atmosphere killed it as well. Very inviting.
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Boone. We've eaten here at least 6 times now and never had a bad meal. The food and service are outstanding. If I had to choose one negative, it would be that the parking could be tricky at times.
The great place to be with family, nice ambience and nicely maintained. The prices are cheap and taste was good too. Nothing special than you get over any mexican restaurants however the service was very fast like the order was on table in 5 mins maybe we were in off peak time(8pm). Well treated with tortilla chips and sauce. We took Dinner special for 2 includes burrito, 2 tacos, chille rellenos, rice, beans. All tasted good except chille seems to old which fried and made it very chewy except that all family left with good experience. We visited during winter time. Watch their specials every day.
I understand they are busy packed out the door. BUT we are giving you business. All the food was cold, rice undercooked as we are picking through it we have a long hair. Getting someone’s attention not so easy.
As soon as you open the door, you’re greeted with politeness, friendliness and smiles. Our server Angel…was an angel, indeed!! He took our orders promptly and within 5 minutes he was mixing and serving the BEST margaritas in Boone!! He oferred to take pictures of us as we celebrated my birthday!! The food was amazing, hot and delicious!! The 2nd margarita was just as delicious!! After our meal, we were surprised by the staff singing and clapping as they put a big red sombrero on me. The complimentary birthday dessert was a special touch. You have to try this place for their amazing bar and cocktails, authentic Mexican cuisine but mostly staff that really cares to make you feel at home!!!
