Chili's Grill - Boone

My husband and I decided to grab a meal before heading back to our hotel on Saturday night. Unfortunately, we made a mistake by choosing to eat at Chili's. I ordered the sampler platter which included fried mozzarella cheese, egg rolls, and mini burgers. It was a huge disappointment - the mozzarella was not even melted, the egg rolls were dry and old, and the burgers were not cooked the way I asked for. I ended up eating my husband's corn on the cob and the queso dip we had ordered as an appetizer. My husband was also not impressed with his meal. If we ever find ourselves in Boone, North Carolina again, we definitely will not be dining at Chili's.

I entered the restaurant with a friend and was completely ignored by the hostess for about 5 minutes as she chatted with a coworker. Meanwhile, my wet shoes were slipping on the floor near the entrance. After being seated at a table, I noticed that it was dirty and when I looked up, I saw greasy footprints on the floor reflected in the light from the door. It was disgusting. I couldn't bring myself to eat in such an unsanitary environment, so we decided to leave.

The food and drinks at this Chili's location are amazing. The service is very friendly. However, the main issue is that they are understaffed, resulting in slow service for drinks. The host also serves as a server, bartender, and manager, making her very busy. Despite the wait, it is worth it as the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Went to the Boone location on Sunday July 3. They were fairly busy and under staffed but everyone was rocking it. The 2 guys at the host station were great. Our sever Olivia was very nice and the food was excellent. One of the guys working was even limping,he's the real hero. Great job guys!

We we to the Mountains for some R&R!! Needless to say we definitely got it. As a Travel Agent I always venture out and try new places so that I can tell my clients all about it, this Chili's was by far one of the best. Great service, food and atmosphere!! You would want to stop by you won't regret it!!
