Not very good food unfortunately, more wad expected for this locations. The fishsoupe war medium and the cheeseplate made of cheap supermarkt cheeses.
I had a nice salad with tomatoes, parmezan and rocket/rucola and a grilled dorada. As desert a panacota.
Schumann’s bar in Sudstad ofers best home made bread un tiene! but they did not want to share the recipe! Haha! It’s a great place for a romantic dinner and their salads are very nice and big!
The food wasn't nice. We were three friends and all three of us left our food. One had lamb and the other spaghetti, I had pizza
My B&B host recommended this restaurant saying that the new owners had run a bigger establishment in the centre, but had now found their place in Sudstadt. My meal comprised of tapenade crostini followed by zander, one of my favourite freshwater fish. Both well executed,...clearly Westphalian inspired without being too heavy. I chose the wines from the Wein des Monats list. Both were perfect for a warm late summer night and the food that I had selected. The service was attentive without being intrusive, there was a nice mix of locals and others. All in all, the best meal that I ate in Bonn in a five day visit.
