It looks inviting inside, but unfortunately not outside. Not a bad place, but with a lot of room for improvement.

We had beef carpaccio as a starter, beef rump steak as a main course and a pancake to top it all off. What can I say, the carpaccio was freshly made and a dream. The beef rump steak was of the best quality and was served medium medium and the pancake really rounded it off. We have already tested other Croatian restaurants in Bonn and we will no longer do so because for us Karlseck is and remains the best. If you love Croatian and want to eat, you should definitely go to Karlseck and accept that the location right on the street isn't the dream, but the food makes up for it.

After the o... read more If you could give negative points, I would. Rarely experienced such poor service. It took about 20 minutes for anyone to come to take a drink order. After the order was taken, my 3 friends and I sat there for almost an hour until the side salad came and after 1 1/2 hours there was still no food but also no indication that it might take longer because it was busy . After we complained and asked for the bill for the drinks we drank and the cheap side salad, we were insulted and given zero understanding for the long waiting time or or or. Simply outrageous and cheeky and the price that was deducted at the end for the side salad was amazing. Not worth 50 cents but billed at €4.50. You can do that for the worst service ever ;
