Was Susan at Sabbaba a mag?
Even though this place is located in the food court of Bondi’s Westfield, the service of the gentlemen at the counter was beyond my expectations ! He was friendly and super lively. The food here to me doesn’t taste like authentic street food but the flavours of the food are delicious! The lamb shish was cooked to perfection, soft and juicy. The falafel was super crunchy on the outside bursting with flavour. They also... View all feedback.

What G dislikes about Sabbaba:
Terrible chicken pita , almost no chicken , dry and bland . I usually like sababa but can tell the 2 girls working there don’t know what they are doing , you should train your staff properly. View all feedback.

I really like the concept of this Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant, but I felt that the portion size of what I ordered was not enough. The chicken shawarma bowl for $15.90 included cabbage slaw, pita bread, chickpeas, a side of tahini, and only around 100-125 grams of sliced chicken thigh. The ratio of salad to protein was off in my opinion. I noticed they offer a "build your own bowl" option where for an extra $2, you can choose 1 protein and 2 side salads from a display window, which seems more appealing than just cabbage salad and pickles. I'll give them another chance and try the build your own bowl concept next time.
