Lady J Cafe & Wine Bar - Bondi Junction

I had an early meeting in Bondi Junction, I was a little early and looking for a coffee. I stumbled across Lady J, a cool looking cafe and wine bar. Situated beneath an office building, it was quite busy. There were a number of take away options as well as sit down meals. The service was friendly and the coffee was good, they use Gabriels. I will have to return for a bite to eat next time I'm in the Junction and have some time on my hands. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

With a catch up long over due, my friend and I came here for lunch and we found the cafe surprisingly empty for a Friday. The staff were very friendly and I decided for their el grande which had poached eggs, spinach, mushrooms, chorizo and a hash brown. Their hash brown are so good! But this dish would have been nicer with a slice of bread to counteract the saltiness of the dish. I tried their masala chai which came in a nice pot. My friend had their haloumi stack which she requested with well poached eggs as she was pregnant and when this was not cooked as asked they were happy to do it again but took forever! I had basically finished my meal before it came. But still she enjoyed it and finished it along with her side of hash brown. As it is a wine bar, I might come back to check out their wines next time.

This is coffee review only: stopped by for coffee after lunch around the area and I must say the coffee was one of the best I had in ages. It was not only made beautifully but perfectly creamy and made with nice beans. I will come back and try their food next time! goodtasteguide.blogspot.com

Best coffee and great food. Ill always toss up between the brekkie wrap or the brekkie roll w crispy bacon. Di gabriell cofffee with Elias behind the coffee machine. Cant beat that

We've been here the last 3 times we've visited Sydney and have always had great coffee and meals. A good space to bring the family for brunch and have great flavour combos like the Jallisco eggs
