Waited ages for our drinks, fod was ok, wanted dessert but no waiters... read more We came here last year for our anniversary, it was absolutely spot on. This year, well!!! Waited ages for our drinks, fod was ok, wanted dessert but no waiters came to us. Nobody came to give us the bill. Ended up going to the bar to pay, without having dessert. Wont be coming again, the waiter we had, well, a smile would have helped. People on tables near us walked out because of service.

The staff are great, attentive and very welcoming. The atmosphere is always good,like most Italian restaurants are. The only issue was their sauces. I had a steak and my partner had a chicken fillet that were both cooked in a tomato sauce. Normally this sauce would be light and well flavoured, obviously with touches from the chef. On this particular occasion,the sauce looked and tasted like it had come from a jar/can. Very thick and gloopy. I'm sure I will visit Baci again and hopefully the sauce will be their usual standard

It so refreshing to be served by people who are not students who don't want to be there. I would give this five stars but I have knocked one star off because I feel this place needs a dress code. People are in dirty jogging pants with sliders and socks and sportswear. It's a restaurant not a sports pub. Such a shame.
