Was Ari Lechman at Java Downtown a mag?
Dear interwebs, How are y’all? I am well. Java is and has been my favorite coffee place downtown for years because their service is always above-and-beyond (thank you to Jordan in particular for always being kind efficient), their beverages are exceptional (my fav is the bowl of soul with whipped cream), their food is delicious, and they’re really fast. Can’t go wrong with Java! 3 Ari P.S. their merch is cool too View all feedback.
What Kym Ursi dislikes about Java Downtown:
So wanted to like this place as the barista was accommodating. Ordered a macchiato and received a caramel latte. Explained I wanted a traditional macchiato and got a latte. I think barista's don't like serving so little liquid? View all feedback.
So goood!!!!! The Muffins were the bomb, breve vanilla iced, delish, whipped cream, delish!!!!! My go to, for sure!!!!! Half off pastries from 3-6pm daily....just wish they stayed open past 6pm on the daily!!!! At least till 8pm....PLEASE!!!!!!
Best coffee in Boise and maybe in the Pacific NW. Blue sky beans are awesome as is the Bowl of Soul. Iced coffees are great too. Friendly Baristas ample seating and good Sammie’s and Breakfast.
Java good day. java adequate cup of coffee. java mind of your own. While there is ample seating for studying or a meetup, the coffee was sub-par. I tried the highly famed 'Bowl of Soul ' and besides the sweet-Mexican-mocha-taste, it couldn 't mask the flavor of shoddy beans. I might come back during Christmastime for a cup of hot coco because their whip was good.
Yikes. Very friendly service, but who the hell cares when the food and coffee is so horrible. I find it strange that, as a coffee house serving coffee in to go cups, they don’t really have any breakfast options that are good on the go. I got the Java Benedict which was some regular deli ham, watered down hollandaise, and a burnt bagel. Coffee was so hot I couldn’t drink it for 20 minutes so when I finally could take a decent sip it tasted burnt. I couldn’t even finish my $8 coffee. Cant believe it cost $22 for what I thought would be a quick breakfast. The good reviews are clearly for the service and atmosphere, which is great, but personally I value good food/drinks more.
