Was Anonym at TAURUS a mag?
Colombian steaks are not all that great, thin and very tough so We sought out a place for a truly good steak. The waiter at Hard Rock suggested Taurus. Great recommendation! The beef is imported from Argentina and the cuts are like those here in the states. The price was great and the atmosphere was nice. We ate outside, the staff was attentive though not much English which is all good. I've recommend this to friends... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about TAURUS:
Taurus specializes in Argentinian cuts of beef. It's the only place I've been to in Bogota that offers high quality aged beef, which I highly recommend. The restaurant offers a decent array of side dishes, non-beef alternatives, and appetizers. We used to go here all the time and the last 2 years something has happened and it's just not the same. I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

Also, when the kitchen is on top of its game the beef is perfectly prepared, but the cooking can sometimes be inconsistent, although never disappointing.

The foos is nothing special and the prices are a little high for the quality of food. There are better and lower priced places in the area.

If you are looking for an excellent steaks with good wine around the Zona T area I would suggest this restaurant. It is more expensive than regular steak places in Bogota, but this restaurant is offering good value for your money. I ordered a beef with "chef's special sauce", don't remember the exact name of the portion, and the sauce was wonderful.
