My wife and I go regularly when in Bogotá. We love the basket of pan de yuca right from the oven! The teams are excellent. Our favorite is the red tea, with hints of mango and passion fruit. The green tea is outstanding as well...(Noches de Toronto). The Kringle, Danish pastry is excellent also. Parking might be an issue. In the zone G and close to the Avenida Chile. Wonderful place to have tea and pastry in the late afternoon!

For my father's birthday I wanted to serve horderves and a friend recommended I went to Ixcacau. My dad was so happy and surprised about the tiny little things I served and my guests just couldn't get enough. Mini-sandwiches, mini-quiches, mini-cheese fingers and most of...all the cream cheese with bell pepper marmalade, that was like the highlight of the evening. Then I took my family for tea and coffee to their cafe and again, we were incredibly satisfied. There is a shop with books and other food items like honey, jams, chocolate boxes, and if you want you can go upstairs were there is another store that sales furniture and clothing form remote countries in Asia. It's fun!!!

My daughter celebrated her birthday here. We were about people altogether. I had talked to one of the owners a few weeks before to make preparations. With a small deposit I was able to reserve one of the rooms Ixcacau had available....We had a fantastic time and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. Carolina Z. was a charming hostess who made sure everything was running smoothly, and Paula our server made sure everyone was taken care of. Yes, we did have to wait some for our food to arrive, but it was well worth it. The quiches, kringles, petit fours, etc. were very good. So glad to find a place like this in Bogota.

This is a cute chocolate and macaroon cafe in Bogota. I recommend the aromatic teas and also lots of cute gifts for people to bring back. As far as Colombia goes it is not super cheap but i really thought it was a great place.

I was here with a friend because she told me there were French macarons, we bought blueberry and lychee flavours but I was sadly surprised because the fruit flavour was not there at all, the filling wasn’t chocolate ganache and fruit but meringue, so it...was disappointing because the real macarons should have chocolate in them. However, the other plates were very good as the aubergines and the macaron sandwich, they have a nice texture and looked delicious.
