Anchovies, oysters, salt cod, tuna, swordfish. Mixed grill, all faultless. Just had lunch here, shame the two miserly, moaning minnies sat next to us, had no idea what good food is and were moaning about pointless things!

My husba... read more Last night July 20th, 2021 we wanted to try a new place for dinner. So we walked over to clipper. We were helped to a tabel for2 and received the menu. My husband doesn 't drink alcohol so we asked for 0% beer. They didn 't have, but the waiter would ask. Well that was nice, at least he tryed. We ordered drinks, no alcohol free cocktails but we ordered something that looked like it. The waiter walked over 3 times while we were looking at the menu. Finally we could order. Had a nice meal. And I wanted to know what type of fish I had just eaten. He said, I know it in italian not in english. So I said, ok let 's look it up. Just a moment. And he never came back. I asked again and again he said wait a moment. We ordered a Cappucino and he comes by and asks if he can get us something else Guys I really am not his friend, but a customer. So I said, We ordered a Cappucino oh ya haha. He was just too busy with the Italian customers, they come back weekly. Really too bad that tourists aren 't being treated as customers here. A shame !

The service was fine and the food and drinks arrived on time but the penne arrabiata was very underwhelming, not spicy at all, watery and too al dente (i get that this might be a personal preference but it was much more al dente than ive had in the past few weeks . My partner ordered the catch of the day for €7 and was asked if he wanted more as it was only a small (100g portion and he said no just the catch of the day and fries please. A minute or so after finishing our meal a woman walked up to our table and stated that the restaurant was closed in a very rude manner and started taking our plates and our unfinished drinks. The the owner came out with the bill and I made the mistake of not checking it before paying so i didn’t see that they charged €22 for the fish. When we asked the owner about it he claimed my partner ordered the €22 fish and after us explaining that he did not because he wanted a small portion he got angry with us and kept yelling that the €7 portion was too small (so why put it on the menu?? . Eventually the owner just shut the restaurant, got on his scooter and left us standing there. Also the €22 fish was still a very small portion which is why we didn’t even notice it being more than a 100g.
