This is still my favorite stop in Boardman. I hope they never change. They had a few new brews from the last time I was here. Our friends had the Canoe juicy IPA which they enjoyed and even ordered another. I had Bloops Cousin, by far one of the better fruit wheat beers I have had. See you guys next year!
Great brewery with friendly staff and great chat with very welcoming locals. We had a crisp very cold German Ale.
We stop here to break our trip back to portland of eastern oregon. it was recommended by our friend who loves beer and what a hidden gem.

Nestled in an old agricultural shed, Ordnance Brewing in Oregon shines as a must-visit destination for craft beer enthusiasts. With a rotating selection of around 15 unique brews, including standout options like the White Crow white stout and the Bloops Cousin fruit wheat beer, patrons revel in a delightful tasting experience. The inviting atmosphere offers glimpses of the nearby Port of Morrow rail yard, enhancing the charm. Friendly bartenders facilitate tastings, ensuring each visitor finds their perfect pint—all at an enticing price of $4. This hidden gem promises a memorable stop, especially for those traveling through the region.

Favorite favorite favorite. Brewery in a converted onion warehouse. We have been coming here since it opened. Not a bad beer on tap. And a selection of 15 or so beers. Grab a bag of burgers and enjoy a beer from the source.
I had tried a few of their beers at the Salem Winter Brew Fest so was really excited on our trip up the gorge to have a chance to pop in to sample some more. It is in an old agricultural industry metal shed way off the beaten path but the GPS didn't fail us today. One of my favorite types of tasting rooms, bar and seating area set up pretty much right in the midst of the actual brewing facility. Tasters served up in small plastic cups on a steel tray, nothing fancy, but it's what was in those petrochemical dispensing units that was so good. Had a really malty, smooth, toasty Strong English Ale, their Brandy Craig, Of Chimpanzees Porter (which I had tried before), their EOD Double IPA,, and my favorite of what I tried, White Crow, a super satisfying white coffee stout with cacao nibs, definitely not your ordinary stout.
The beer was excellent, and I appreciated that they provided us with several samples before we made our selection. The service was pleasant, and they even gave us some snacks.
This tap room in Eastern Oregon was undoubtedly the best. The beer from Ordnance is fantastic and the ambiance, watching trains at the Port of Morrow rail yard, is what really sets it apart. A cool bonus is the chance to see unique locomotives up close. While the future of this spot is uncertain, I hope they reopen this summer. This hidden gem in central/eastern Oregon shouldn't be missed. Here's to hoping for 2021.
We stopped by this place to break up our journey back to Portland from Eastern Oregon, as it was recommended by a friend who is a beer lover. What a hidden gem it turned out to be! The bartender was incredibly friendly, offering us recommendations and allowing us to sample different types of beer before we settled on our pints. At just $4 a pint, it's a fantastic deal! I couldn't resist getting the seasonal Fresh Hops IIPA to go, and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our drinks on the back porch, where we could see a train yard and watch the occasional train pass by. The locals were welcoming too. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!
