Everything about this place is great. Most importantly, the beer. Anything you get will be delicious. Nearly as important? The feel. It's a warehouse in the Port of Morrow district, right along the railroad yard. Go out onto their back patio and watch the trains roll through, catch the steam rising from the potato plant, hear the trucks moving to from the Amazon data center. I'm not being sarcastic. It's really a gre... View all feedback.

We stopped here to break up our drive back to Portland from Eastern Oregon, and it was recommended by a friend who is a beer enthusiast. What a hidden gem it turned out to be! The bartender was incredibly friendly and encouraged us to sample various beers before we chose our own pints. At just $4 a pint, the prices are fantastic! I couldn’t resist getting the seasonal Fresh Hops IIPA to take home, and it was delicious! We enjoyed sitting on their back porch, where we had a nice view of a train yard and saw trains passing by occasionally. The locals were welcoming as well. If you're in the area, definitely make sure to stop by!

I absolutely love Ordnance, and I'm thrilled that it's located in Boardman! You won't find a bad beer on their menu. The fresh hop brews are truly outstanding. I also enjoy the water tower sour for a refreshing ale option. Did you know they make cider too? The bartender was extremely friendly. The outdoor area is really nice, situated right next to the railroad tracks, and it captures a great Boardman vibe. Be sure to include this place in your plans!
The restaurant is currently closed, as indicated by a note on the door. There is no information available about when it will reopen. I look forward to visiting again soon.
Great brewery with friendly staff and great chat with very welcoming locals. We had a crisp very cold German Ale.

Favorite favorite favorite. Brewery in a converted onion warehouse. We have been coming here since it opened. Not a bad beer on tap. And a selection of 15 or so beers. Grab a bag of burgers and enjoy a beer from the source.
I had tried a few of their beers at the Salem Winter Brew Fest so was really excited on our trip up the gorge to have a chance to pop in to sample some more. It is in an old agricultural industry metal shed way off the beaten path but the GPS didn't fail us today. One of my favorite types of tasting rooms, bar and seating area set up pretty much right in the midst of the actual brewing facility. Tasters served up in small plastic cups on a steel tray, nothing fancy, but it's what was in those petrochemical dispensing units that was so good. Had a really malty, smooth, toasty Strong English Ale, their Brandy Craig, Of Chimpanzees Porter (which I had tried before), their EOD Double IPA,, and my favorite of what I tried, White Crow, a super satisfying white coffee stout with cacao nibs, definitely not your ordinary stout.
The beer was excellent, and I appreciated that they provided us with several samples before we made our selection. The service was pleasant, and they even gave us some snacks.
This tap room in Eastern Oregon was undoubtedly the best. The beer from Ordnance is fantastic and the ambiance, watching trains at the Port of Morrow rail yard, is what really sets it apart. A cool bonus is the chance to see unique locomotives up close. While the future of this spot is uncertain, I hope they reopen this summer. This hidden gem in central/eastern Oregon shouldn't be missed. Here's to hoping for 2021.
This neighborhood brewery is fantastic, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a drink after work. I particularly enjoyed the selection of IPAs they offered, while my husband was a fan of the stout and dark IPA choices. The ambiance in the brewery is vibrant and enjoyable. If you appreciate craft beer, this brewery is definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant features a selection of 15 house-made beers, as well as a cider. There is ample seating available for guests. I found the Dunkel quite enjoyable. Additionally, they offer taster trays and growlers for those interested.
Fantastic variety of beers, great atmosphere, and Craig is an awesome guy!
