Everything about this place is great. Most importantly, the beer. Anything you get will be delicious. Nearly as important? The feel. It's a warehouse in the Port of Morrow district, right along the railroad yard. Go out onto their back patio and watch the trains roll through, catch the steam rising from the potato plant, hear the trucks moving to from the Amazon data center. I'm not being sarcastic. Favorite favorite favorite. Brewery in a converted onion warehouse. We have been coming here since it opened. Not a bad beer on tap. And a selection of 15 or so beers. Grab a bag of burgers and enjoy a beer from the source.
The beer was excellent, and I appreciated that they provided us with several samples before we made our selection. The service was pleasant, and they even gave us some snacks.
We stopped by this place to break up our journey back to Portland from Eastern Oregon, as it was recommended by a friend who is a beer lover. What a hidden gem it turned out to be! The bartender was incredibly friendly, offering us recommendations and allowing us to sample different types of beer before we settled on our pints. At just $4 a pint, it's a fantastic deal! I couldn't resist getting the seasonal Fresh Hops IIPA to go, and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our drinks on the back porch, where we could see a train yard and watch the occasional train pass by. The locals were welcoming too. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!
