On a cross county trip, we stopped because it's name says famous BBQ. So we wandered off the interstate and found them. We had the chopped beef sandwichs and rin tip plate. Sides were Mac Cheese, cabbage, white beans and potato salad. Great meat that was not hidden in a ton of seasoning or sauce, so you could taste the meat. I called ahead of time for some rib tips but was told they were out so I decided to get the ribs which I was told they had. Upon arriving to pick my order up I was told they were out of ribs. The whole purpose of ordering g ahead is to ensure I had the food and not to wait. I ended up getting a bbq sandwich since I was short on time. Disappointing. Next time well there is NO next time. I got a BBQ sandwich n It was good and I also love the rib tips
90% of the time they are out of 98% of their menu. Last time ribs was super dry and rubbery. The “half chicken” is actually half thigh. They do have good potato salad (when they actually have it).
