The dining experience was decent overall. A few of the staff members came across as somewhat rude. However, considering the location, it wasn't that bad; I've had much worse experiences at McDonald's and other fast food places nearby. It was convenient that Perkins was connected to my hotel, and we received a complimentary breakfast voucher for our first morning there. Since we dined here twice during our trip, I believe my assessment carries some weight.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Chicago to Arkansas, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and we were happy to leave our waitress a generous tip. The food was fresh and served hot. Our table ordered the chicken steak, pot roast, and mini chicken pot pie, and everything was absolutely delicious! Our family has decided to make this our official stop from now on.

Upon entering, we were greeted by a musty odor that permeated the dining area. The table we were given was sticky, which only added to our discomfort. Ultimately, we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Time is precious when traveling, and it seemed this restaurant did not prioritize its customers; otherwise, these issues would have been addressed. How can a restaurant operate with just one cook on duty? The outdated decor, musty smell, and sticky menus are also major red flags. I won’t be returning. In response to the management's automated reply—thank you for your generic response, which seems to have been used for other reviews. I urge you to implement a plan to revitalize this restaurant. Consider hiring, training, and retaining more staff. It would greatly benefit the establishment to freshen up the dining area by steam cleaning the carpets and eliminating the musty smell. Properly clean the tables to remove sticky residue. Create an environment where people actually want to sit down and enjoy their meals. A one-hour wait for food when there are only a few tables, with one lone cook, is simply unacceptable and reflects poor customer service. I will not be coming back.

I visit Perkins quite often, sometimes even twice a week for takeout. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I usually order the same meal each time. The manager knows me by name and remembers my usual order without me having to mention it. That really means a lot to me. Great job to all the cooks and staff!

If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would! While the server was friendly, the manager seemed too intimidated to address the cook's unprofessional behavior. The person who prepared our food was not only incompetent but also had a poor attitude. We simply requested for our hash browns to be crispy, but the cook took offense to our request and ended up overcooking them. It was obvious he knew no one would want to eat them, as he served another plate that was just as disappointing. The eggs tasted like canned spinach! It was a real letdown because we were visiting my father for Father's Day and had hoped for a meal worth our time and money. I've called the owner several times and left my number, but I still haven't received a callback. It's truly unfortunate to see such a lack of professionalism all around!
