The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. I couldn't use the shared bathroom at first because someone else was in the shower. However, once they were done, I found it to be a spacious and clean bathroom with a large shower and a big bathtub.
Great pub, we go there with Pete and Steph when we are down, friendly, good ales and take dogs, perfect.
This charming pub is conveniently located next to the railway station and near the river. It features lovely outdoor benches, complete with covers for rain protection and delightful string lights. They offer a great selection of local beers and serve a wonderful bowl of chips. Additionally, the pub is dog-friendly, making it an ideal spot to relax after a scenic walk along the Tyne.
Lovely little pub very busy £9 for 2 double gins. Rooms very clean I would definitely recommend this place.
This pub is stunning, and our room was spotless. Both the bathroom and kitchen were clean and well-maintained. We would definitely recommend it and will be returning. The staff here are incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. The location is perfect, with the train station right beside the boathouse; the trains passing by didn’t bother us at all. Thank you for a lovely stay. Honestly, we usually opt for a suite, but this was just as enjoyable. – Laura and Paul
