Highly recommended for our team's night out! Fantastic service and delicious food. Definitely our top choice.
The meal was excellent and the staff was very helpful. It's a great find and a wonderful place to eat.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Blyth. The food is always delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I encountered a problem with the tipping policy. I had read reviews mentioning that the staff did not receive the tips, so I inquired about it. Unfortunately, tips do not go to the staff, which I found very disappointing. I believe that good service should be rewarded with a tip to show appreciation and to promote good service. Next time I visit Asmara Indian Cuisine, I will make sure to directly reward the waitress/waiter with the tip. Thank you for a pleasant evening.
This is the second time we have had a takeaway from Asmara. The first was poor and seeing all of the good reviews we thought we would try again. The first issue was it took 90 minutes to arrive and was only warm so had to be re-heated. Both curries were bland at best and the dupiaza was even a bit watery. The portion size was good and there was plenty of tender chicken unfortunately it was tasteless. We only had two curries with rice and some poppadum's and one chapati which came to £36. It was way overpriced for what we got. We won't order again.
We had a party of 10 during a busy time, and the experience was fantastic. Every dish arrived on time and was of excellent quality. We ordered additional items throughout the meal, and the service was impeccable—definitely a 10 out of 10. Drinks were readily available, and there were no long waits. This is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the North East.
