Smokehouse Barbecue Kansas City, Mo (zona Rosa)

The food was good but not awesome. I had to ask for bbq sauce because my sliced meat sandwich was dry and there was no sauce on the table or with the service. The wait staff was friendly and helpful when asked. The atmosphere was very welcoming.

Being in Kansas City I was expecting really good BBQ. Our waitress was excellent and it's a pretty cool place. The meat however had no flavor and was really dry. We got the burnt ends for an appetizer. They weren't crispy or juicy. Very dry and bland.

The chicken needed to be smoked more because it was tough!! Baked beans and macNcheese were ok but I wouldn't get them again.... Had a great server who was knowledgeable which I appreciate when first visiting restaurants

I judge BBQ places on their sides. Coleslaw, baked beans and cheesy corn were not homemade. When I get to the meat I want to taste your smoke skills. All meat was covered in sauce (which was nothing special)! The decor is more geared to an Italian restaurant. Service was slow at 2pm with few tables occupied.
