I was reminded why The Blue Nile is our favorite Ethiopian restaurant in the city and probably the country! The food was so delicious you could tell it was made with love, And the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Make sure the Blue Nile is on your list of places to visit in KC.

Great food! Injeras were perfect too! (Sometimes they r too sour). The lentils and mushrooms were my fav. The cabbage was delicious as well. All in all very good experience. If u sit outside u can enjoy the bustling street ambiance ! reasonably priced and grt vegetarian/vegan selection! My son claims the meat dishes were equally good too!

Very cozy, very delicious food. Try the Ethiopian beer! The lamb was amazing.

Sat outside for 25min, promise of water for 15. Got up and left. Waiter came after I brought the menus inside to leave so they wouldn’t blow away from the wind. Was unaware we had been sitting there for almost half an hour without even being brought waters, despite another staff worker mentioning he would bring them out. 0 stars for service. The inside was crowded, but not full.
