Woolley's - Bloomington
Woolley's
Description
The restaurant offers a good atmosphere with friendly service but has mixed reviews when it comes to food quality. Some found the Mexican dishes lacking in flavor, with odd sweetness in the sauces. Others noted that while the food was delicious, there were issues with noise levels and burnt meats. Despite this, the original drinks and welcoming staff received positive feedback. Long wait times and the limited cooking style of the kitchen were mentioned as areas for improvement. Overall, the experience seems to vary depending on individual preferences and expectations.

Although this was one of our favorite restaurants, tonight's experience was a letdown. But I believe everyone is allowed to have an off night.
Always a good choice. Great margaritas and unique dishes. Carnitas seems to have changed - I didn't care what wet sauce it was on top of. It dampened the carnitas. The service was somewhat inattentive during this visit.
The food is fantastic but the service is even better. Very friendly helpful quick and reasonably priced highly recommended. Cherish , Chantel , Shannon and Emily Rock!!! What are you waiting for go there and have a beer and some supper !! Five starsplus. Can’t count how many different Beers on Tap.
We had a fantastic experience at Woolley’s! We came for happy hour dinner. The bar was extremely busy with the after work crowd, but there were several booths open. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I can’t even explain how fast the foodcame out we had drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert all in less than an hour. The food was delicious! I highly recommendthe Korean beef tacos they were outstanding. I also loved the French onion soup! My husband had the calamari and said it wasokay, but nothing special. He’ll skip that one next time. I tried the Brussels sprouts also okay, but nothing amazing.Definitely more of a steamed sautéed side dish than an appetizer. Generous portions, though. We each tried the pasta, bothof which were tasty. My husband had the black blue pasta without the blue cheese sounds like it defeats the purpose, but itdidn’t. It was delicious! I had the pasta vodka, which was also tasty. We ended with some very affordable desserts! I had thewhiskey caramel bread pudding YUM and husband had the white chocolate cheesecake. Both were great! We can’t wait to comeback and try more food!
